M. Prey, MSE, LPC JoNel
received her Masters Degree in Counselor Education from the University
of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education
from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point She has been a Professional
Counselor since 1985 in Marriage and Family Therapy, plus has specialized
training in Divorce and Stepfamily Counseling. JoNel has additional training
in adoption triad issues, depression and stress management, and facilitated
groups on coping with and recovering from physical and sexual abuse, gender
differences, and self esteem concerns.
JoNel enjoys
working with school age children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Clients comment that she is easy to talk to, gives helpful feedback, is
a good listener, fair and impartial, but also direct and honest with them.
JoNel is
married with 2 adult children in their 20’s, plus a stepdaughter
attending high school. She enjoys golfing, Packer and Badger Football
games, gardening, supporting her son’s racing career and daughter’s
collegiate experience, stories shared by her stepdaughter, and boating
with her husband.
As a Licensed
Professional Counselor, JoNel consults with psychologists on our staff.
The psychologists are available for psychological testing of adults and
children.
